In 2021, all companies (EU producers, assemblers, importers, distributors, etc …) who are placing products on the EU market need to provide information to Substance of Concern in Products (SCIP) database about any hazardous substances.
Alignment of Swiss and European legislation for toys
On 5th November 2019, Swiss confederation published the Official Collection 2019 - 3367 with the aim to align the Swiss Toys Ordinance with the European Toy Safety Directive and entry 51 to Annex XVII of Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 on Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH).
On 29th November 2019, The Official gazette published Regulation nº 30963 which contains an amendment to the Regulation of Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (KKDIK).
